Collective Hub Partners with French Embassy to Elevate Bahraini Entrepreneurship

The Collective Hub, a business incubator supported by Tenmou, welcomed H.E. Mr. Eric Giraud-Telme, the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at its headquarters in the Yateem Center complex in Manama.

The French ambassador toured the incubator and explored its innovatively designed offices and spaces crafted to provide an ideal environment for meetings and work, catering to entrepreneurs, project owners, and startups. The facilities also include designated areas for entrepreneurs and their diverse projects, spanning sectors such as e-commerce, digital marketing, and technology.

During the visit, The Collective Hub signed a cooperation agreement with the French Embassy to launch a training program in film and video photography, scheduled from July 18 to 29. The program includes grants provided by the Embassy to members of the "It's All Things Media 2.0" initiative. The agreement was signed by Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Kooheji, a member of the Board of Directors at The Collective Hub.

The collaboration commenced with a filmmaking workshop. The workshop attracted individuals interested in filmmaking and digital marketing and covered several key topics, including screenwriting, filming and directing, art production, sound effects, editing, marketing and promotion strategies for films, and information on prominent international awards in the field.

Mrs.  Khawla Alshaikh, Director of The Collective Hub, highlighted the cooperation with the French Embassy, emphasizing that the Collective Hub spares no effort in forging partnerships with various stakeholders to support creative youth, helping them establish their startups and providing the elements needed for growth and stability in the labor market. "This contributes to raising their competitiveness," Mrs. Khawla noted, adding, "The Collective Hub constantly seeks to provide entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to transform their ideas into sustainable and successful projects."

Mrs. Alshaikh elaborated on the "All Things Media 2.0" initiative, launched by the incubator in partnership with the Labour Fund "Tamkeen." The program focuses primarily on Bahraini startups and creators, enriching their talents and developing their skills in media and the creative industry. It aims to showcase their work through high-level training programs and enable them to participate in prestigious exhibitions, accommodation and exchange programs, public events, and workshops in collaboration with various media agencies and embassies in Bahrain. The program also offers networking opportunities and meetings with major investors both locally and internationally.
