Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of innovative Islamic financial solutions for simplifying money matters in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the launch of its third Future Leaders Summer Camp, in collaboration with INJAZ Bahrain.

Commencing in August 2024, the initiative aims to nurture the next generation of leaders by providing educational and fun experiences for youth aged 7 to 18. The Future Leaders Summer Camp is designed to offer an insightful glimpse into the professional world through a series of informative trips to some of the largest corporations in Bahrain.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with business leaders, learn about various industries, and develop essential financial management skills. The programme includes a range of activities, such as site
visits, innovation challenges, and an exciting treasure hunt with chances to win instant cash prizes.

Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, said: “We are honored to collaborate once again with BisB on the third Future Leaders Summer Camp, an initiative that reflects our unwavering dedication to the empowerment and development of Bahraini youth.

By providing them with invaluable experiences and interactions with industry leaders, we aim to ignite their potential, foster a spirit of innovation, and build a solid foundation for their future endeavors. This program is more than an educational opportunity; it is a stepping stone towards shaping visionary leaders who will contribute significantly to our nation's progress and prosperity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, King Abdulla Medical City, Bapco Refining, and Gulf Air Group, for their invaluable support and for opening their doors to inspire and educate the next generation.”
Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Fatema AlAlawi, Chief Retail Banking Officer of BisB said, “The Future Leaders Summer Camp reflects our steadfast efforts in developing engaging initiatives aimed
at empowering Bahraini youth.

By partnering with INJAZ Bahrain, we seek to cultivate the skills of young individuals and expose them to potential career paths aligned with their interests and ambitions. This programme not only provides invaluable learning opportunities but also fosters a spirit of innovation and teamwork among the participants. We invite parents to register their children and take advantage of this unique opportunity to shape their professional future.”

Participants will be divided into three age groups to attend specific site visits and engage in tailored activities. The primary level, for ages 7 to 11, will visit King Abdulla Medical City. Meanwhile, the
intermediate level, which is for 12 to 14-year-olds, will explore Bapco Refining. Finally, the secondary level, catering to ages 15 to 18, will tour the Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA).

Each age group will compete in an innovation challenge, with the winning teams advancing to the final Mysteries Vault. This final challenge will test the contestants’ problem-solving abilities and teamwork, culminating in a
rewarding experience for all involved. Winners of the Mysteries Vault challenge will have the opportunity to visit BisB’s headquarters and meet BisB team to know more about the bank’s strategy.

The summer camp will be exclusive to holders of BisB Future Leaders wearable wristbands, with a limited number of places available. Parents interested in registering their children can apply through BisB’s website or access the application link provided in BisB’s and INJAZ Bahrain’s Instagram accounts.

A parent or legal guardian can open a Future Leaders account on behalf of their children who are between the ages of 7 to 18, while those older can complete the process independently through BisB’s website or mobile application.
