Mr. Mubarak Al Hadi, Secretary-General of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS), emphasized the Society's commitment, since its establishment in 1970, to collaborating with its various partners to elevate Bahrain's standing on the global stage in charitable, relief, and humanitarian work.

On the occasion of the International Day of Charity, observed annually on September 5th as designated by the United Nations, Mr. Al Hadi highlighted that charity work is a core component of the BRCS's mission. Over the past fifty years, the Society has carried out numerous relief projects worldwide, maintaining continuous and effective coordination with charitable organizations and funds across Bahrain to enhance the impact of charity efforts through swift and appropriate responses to those in need.

Mr. Mubarak Al Hadi emphasized the Bahrain Red Crescent Society’s commitment to working with various associations, organizations, and voluntary and charitable institutions to strengthen Bahrain’s role in relief efforts both locally and globally. The Society is dedicated to providing aid to the vulnerable and victims of disasters and conflicts, whether within or outside Bahrain. In the same context, the activities of the Social Services Committee in the Bahrain Red Crescent Society extend across all regions of Bahrain, assessing the needs of families and providing them with financial and in-kind support.

Among the Society's charitable initiatives is the regular assistance provided to more than four thousand deserving families in various parts of the Kingdom. In the field of relief and humanitarian efforts, substantial support has been extended to countries such as Syria, Palestine, and Yemen, with a recent donation of $100,000 to Sudan for flood relief.
