‘Shop Bahrain’ roadshow begins
‘Shop Bahrain’ Organising Committee launched a roadshow in major GCC cities introducing the festival, calendar of events and the tailor-made travel packages available to visitors and tourists coming in during the period of the festival. The promotional tour that was held over three consecutive days included press conferences attended by prominent journalists from Jeddah, Doha and Kuwait.
Commenting on the roadshow, Shop Bahrain Director, Nawaf Al Koheji said, “The tour comes at a time in which the Kingdom of Bahrain has set a new record for the number of visitors coming in. We have witnessed a steady growth in recent years according to statistics, with about 6.6 million visitors from the region entering the country in the year 2014.”
‘Shop Bahrain’ is set to be the largest nationwide festival with a unique 30-day celebration of Bahrain’s heritage, hospitality and tourism offering for the entire family running from 24th December 2015 until 23rd January 2016.
