Tender awarded for Riffa, Jaradah Avenue development

The Tender Board opened bids yesterday for 21 tenders on behalf of various government bodies, attracting a total of 150 submissions from local and international companies seeking to offer competitive prices and services.
The Labour Market Regulatory Authority secured a tender for health insurance for its employees, with four bids in contention. “Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C.” submitted the lowest bid at 334,974 dinars.
In the oil and gas sector, the board opened a tender for the collection and sale of scrap metal for the year 2025, representing Bapco Exploration and Production W.L.L.
Four bids were received, with “Crown Industries” presenting the lowest at 787,875 dinars. The Ministry of Works issued several tenders, including one for consulting services to oversee the main line project on Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway.
This tender drew three bids, with the lowest from “STANTEC KHONJI” at 439,670 dinars. Additionally, another tender for supervising the sewage network in Bu Quwah received a bid of 391,900 dinars from the same company. A tender was opened for the provision of 32 vehicles for primary health care centres, attracting five bidders. The lowest bid was from “Tas’heelat Car Leasing Company” at 362,813 dinars.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority issued a tender for a field measurement platform and public sources, receiving nine bids. The lowest bid was valued at 225,513 dinars from “Commsquare.”
In infrastructure, the Ministry of Works opened a tender for the development of Jaradah Avenue in Riffa – Blocks 907 and 911, which attracted 13 bids. The lowest bid was from “JAHECON W.L.L” at 561,758 dinars.
Another tender was issued for the development of the truck transport road in the southern Alba Industrial Area, garnering bids from 15 companies.
The lowest bid, at 366,070 dinars, was awarded to “Sayed Kadhem Aldurazi & Sons” The Ministry of Education also offered several tenders, including one for providing cleaning workers for schools, evening education centres, and summer clubs. This tender received 25 bids, highlighting the competitive nature of the cleaning sector, with the lowest bid from “Blue Band Contracting” at 8,793,576 dinars.
In the energy sector, Bilaj Al Jazayer Real Estate Development opened a tender for civil works on a 66 kV primary power station in the Bilaj Al Jazayer area. Four bids were received, with the lowest bid from “Mohammed Jalal Contracting” at 1,227,200 dinars.
The Central Stores Administration of the Electricity and Water Authority received various tenders, including for the supply of water equipment (SADDLE FERRULE GM 63 X 20 MM) and LED lighting fixtures, with the lowest bids standing at 28,124 dinars and 60,060 dinars, respectively
