BENEFIT, the Kingdom’s innovator and leading company in Fintech and electronic financial transactions service, said it has been awarded the esteemed WITSA 2024 Global Innovation & Tech Excellence Award.

Nominated for this award by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH), BENEFIT has been honoured with the Chairman’s Award, the highest honour within the awards programme.

Personally conferred by WITSA Chairman Dr. Sean Seah, this accolade highlights the company’s pioneering achievements and continuous innovation in setting new benchmarks for Fintech excellence. The award ceremony took place on October, during the 28th World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT 2024) in Yerevan, Armenia.

This global event, themed “The Power of Mind: AI Beyond Limits, Within Ethics,” convened visionaries, policymakers, and industry experts from across the world. WCIT 2024 served as a premier gathering to explore the latest breakthroughs in technology, particularly in artificial intelligence, while fostering critical discussions on innovation within ethical frameworks.

BENEFIT’s latest accolade builds on a series of milestones that reinforce its position at the forefront of the digital payments landscape in Bahrain.

Recently, the company received the Fintech Award at the Bahrain Digital Content Awards for its BenefitPay application. Furthermore, for the third consecutive year, BENEFIT has been recognized among Bahrain's top 50 companies in Al Bilad’s 2024 edition of the ‘Top 50 Most Powerful Bahraini Companies’ list.
