The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has successfully concluded the TechStride Educational Programme in partnership with Fab Lab Bahrain. A closing ceremony was held at the Bahrain Science Centre, which was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, and was attended by NBB representatives.
As part of the programme, TechStride trained students on vital technology skills in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision, and Game Design. Through a project-based learning model, the youth gained proficiency in different developmental stages and iterative cycles. The four-week programme concluded with an exhibition showcasing the novel projects developed by participants.
Following an extensive tour, attendees gathered for the ceremony, which included a welcome speech and video presentation highlighting the achievements of the young learners throughout the programme. Awards were also presented to the partners and creators of the winning projects. The event ended with a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
The TechStride Educational Programme provided a platform for young innovators to enhance their technical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, contributing to Bahrain’s growing innovation ecosystem. By collaborating with Fab Lab Bahrain for this initiative, NBB has highlighted its ongoing commitment to inspiring and empowering the next generation of Bahrain’s technology leaders, paving the way for continued progress in the Kingdom.
