The British School of Bahrain (BSB) has achieved a remarkable milestone by being included in Carfax’s Global School Index, earning its place among the “Top 150 Private Schools Worldwide” and the “Top 15 Schools in the Middle East.” The school owned by Inspired Education Group is the only school in Bahrain to be listed in the 2024 rankings. This recognition underscores BSB’s commitment to academic excellence, making it one of only two schools in Bahrain to receive such an honour. This achievement follows BSB’s consistent performance, having maintained the best A-Level results in the country for the past five years. The school has also been rated “Outstanding in all areas” by both the British Schools Overseas (BSO) and the Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA). Additionally, BSB was previously the only school in Bahrain to be featured in Carfax’s list of the “Top 25 Private Schools to Watch Worldwide.”
Founder, Chairman and CEO of Inspired Education, Nadim Nsouli, said, "Only the best schools in the world are part of Inspired and we are honoured to have the British School of Bahrain being named among the 'Top 150 Private Schools Worldwide'. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teachers, students, and the entire BSB community. Head of Education at Carfax Education, Fiona McKenzie, Head of Education, Carfax Education, said: "Now in its fifth year, The Schools Index has become a valuable resource for parents looking for the very best education for their child, wherever they are in the world - as well as for the private schools sector. The demand for excellent schools continues to grow and remains fiercely competitive as parents strive to ensure their child receives the strongest foundations to set them up for a lifetime of success. The importance of parents having The Schools Index has grown as families become more mobile and can choose to work from different parts of the world, so the Schools Index has become a valuable resource to identify the best education opportunities for their children.
“We congratulate The British School Bahrain and all of the Top 15 Middle East schools for being included in this year's Schools Index which has been comprehensively curated by international experts. Each school has been recognised for its footprint in education, including academics, facilities, preparation for university entry, unique ethos and how they prepare students for life beyond academia."
