BisB Champions Breast Cancer Awareness with Pink October Initiatives

In alignment with the global Pink October campaign, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), a leading provider of innovative Islamic financial solutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has organized a series of impactful initiatives throughout the month to raise awareness about breast cancer. The Bank partnered with key stakeholders and rolled out various activities to engage employees and the wider public on this important cause.
As part of its efforts, BisB’s social committee collaborated with the Free Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions and the Bahraini Bankers Syndicate to organize a lecture on breast cancer prevention and early detection, presented by Dr. Marwa AlMeslamani from Al Salam Hospital. This informative session highlighted the importance of timely health check-ups and aimed to equip attendees with knowledge about the risks and prevention strategies associated with breast cancer.
In partnership with the American Mission Hospital, the Bank introduced special screening and consultation packages for its female customers, available throughout October. Additionally, BisB provides its female employees with free annual medical examinations to help prevent this disease, underscoring its commitment to facilitating high-quality and accessible healthcare. As a symbolic gesture of solidarity with breast cancer survivors and the global fight against the disease, a pink sticker was also placed at the entrance of BisB’s headquarters
