Bahrain’s first Business Angel Investing Company “Tenmou”, has announced the opening of registration for participants wishing to attend the MENA Angel Investment Summit 2024.
This event is held in collaboration with the Labour Fund "Tamkeen," aimed at fostering the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and supporting start-ups across the region.
The MENA Angel Investment Summit 2024 is anticipated to gather approximately 300 attendees, including investors, startups, venture capital firms, family business owners, entrepreneurs, and industry specialists from Bahrain and beyond. The summit will feature over 20 tech startups showcasing their investment projects to a distinguished panel of investors and entrepreneurship experts.
Ms. Maha Mufeez, Chief Executive of the Labour Fund Tamkeen, emphasized the significance of investing in enterprises of all sizes, particularly start-ups, and said: "Since the establishment of Tamkeen, approximately 96% of our support has been directed towards SMEs, and MENA Angel Investment Summit 2024 will pave the way for more innovative projects."
Ms. Mufeez also highlighted Tamkeen's commitment to enhancing the competitiveness of Bahraini enterprises on both local and international stages, providing them with the necessary tools to expand and create promising job opportunities for local talent.
