Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery Lauds Bahraini Women as Pillars of Development and Progress

In celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, CEO of Bapco Refining Company, a key subsidiary of Bapco Energy, lauded the exceptional contributions of Bahraini women to the Kingdom’s growth and development. Recognizing Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, Dr. Jawahery emphasized her unwavering support for initiatives empowering Bahraini women as central players in the nation’s progress.

Dr. Jawahery commended Her Highness’s visionary leadership in establishing December 1 as a dedicated day to honor Bahraini women. "This national celebration highlights their integral role in the Kingdom’s development journey, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s leadership,” he said.

Reflecting on the achievements of Bahraini women, especially in the industrial and energy sectors, Dr. Jawahery noted their increasing presence in leadership roles and technical fields. “Our female engineers are leading innovations in refinery operations, and numerous women have emerged as inspirational leaders, driving the Kingdom’s success,” he added.

He also praised the Supreme Council for Women’s impactful initiatives, which ensure equal opportunities for Bahraini women in all sectors. “The Kingdom of Bahrain sets a regional example in empowering women, and their contributions are indispensable to our political, economic, and social advancements,” concluded Dr. Jawahery.
