ICAI Bahrain Chapter Hosts Transformative “Conference of NEW AGE” with Global Visionaries

The ICAI Bahrain Chapter successfully hosted its flagship event, the “Conference of NEW AGE,” on November 29-30, 2024, at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Manama. This two-day event brought together over 400 professionals, industry leaders, and thought leaders to discuss pivotal themes such as automation, governance, and environmental sustainability.

Under the leadership of Chapter Chairperson CA Vivek Gupta, the conference opened with a grand inaugural session. Distinguished dignitaries such as H.E. Mr. Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of India to Bahrain, Sh. Sanjeev Sanyal, Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India, and Jamal Fakhro, Managing Partner at KPMG Bahrain, enriched the discussions with their insights into economic reforms, global trends, and the evolving role of professionals.

The event featured keynote sessions from inspiring personalities, including Padma Shri Murali Kant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic Gold Medalist, and social influencers Abhi and Niyu, Forbes 30 Under 30 and National Creators Award winners. Their talks resonated with the audience, emphasizing resilience, transformation, and the power of innovative thinking.

Local industry leaders such as Amal Kooheji, Ali Marshad, and Ameen Altajer contributed their expertise, highlighting Bahrain’s commitment to sustainable growth and digital advancement. The conference’s central theme, “NEW AGE,” underscored innovation and collaboration while introducing the concept of NetWeaving—a fresh approach to fostering community-driven partnerships.
