BisB announces digital account opening for GCC customers

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has announced the launch of a new feature within the BisB Mobile App that allows customers Holding the Nationality of any of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to open accounts remotely.
With this Digital onboarding experience, clients across the GCC can conveniently open a range of accounts at BisB, including Tejoori Al Islami, Saving Accounts, Current Accounts (without a cheque book), and Investment Deposits. In addition, users can apply for both debit and prepaid cards directly from within the App, without the need for physical branch visits.
Ms. Fatema AlAlawi, Acting Chief Executive Officer at BisB said, “We look forward to expanding our reach and setting new standards for Islamic digital banking with innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of users beyond Bahrain.”
