Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company marks National Day

In conjunction with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebrations of the 53rd National Day and the 25th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne, the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) organized the annual National Day celebration at the company’s headquarters in Hidd on December 12, 2024, in the presence of the company’s Executive Management, led by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ahmed Al Abri, the Deputy CEO, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, several managers and a group of the company’s employees.

The celebration featured a rich line-up of activities showcasing the Kingdom’s deep - rooted culture and heritage.

Traditional crafts such as pearl shelling and shipbuilding were displayed, while musical groups performed patriotic songs and folk troupes presented time-honoured chants.

The event also included poetry recitals expressing loyalty and belonging to the cherished Kingdom. ASRY CEO commented during the event: “I am honored to extend my sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed government, and the loyal people of Bahrain on the occasion of the glorious National Day, wishing His Majesty good health and continued success and prosperity in leading and elevating the Kingdom of Bahrain.”

This celebration witnessed wide participation from ASRY and Subcontractor employees.
