In a heartwarming initiative, Hilton Bahrain recently celebrated Bahrain National Day with the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral & Communication Difficulties by hosting an art competition. This event highlighted the creativity of six talented Bahraini artists, aged 7 to 12 years, who submitted a total of ten inspiring art entries.

The competition aimed to promote inclusivity and provide young artists facing communication and behavioral challenges a platform to express themselves. Following the announcement of the winner, all artworks will be displayed in the Hilton Bahrain lobby from December 12 to 16, allowing guests and the wider community to appreciate the remarkable talent of these children.

The judging panel for the competition featured esteemed figures in the local art and hospitality scene, including Tamer Farouk, General Manager of Hilton Bahrain; Ms. Rasha Al Mannai, a respected local artist; and Sheikha Rania Al Khalifa, the Director of the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral & Communication Difficulties.

Tamer Farouk expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “Their creativity is a reflection of resilience and talent, and we are thrilled to provide a platform for their voices to be heard.”

Local artist Ms. Rasha Al Mannai added, “It is inspiring to witness the unique perspectives and emotions these children express through their art. Each piece tells a story and reflects the beauty of diversity in our society.”

Sheikha Rania Al Khalifa emphasized the importance of art in self-expression, particularly for children with behavioral and communication difficulties. “This competition not only showcases their artistic abilities but also fosters a greater understanding and appreciation within the community.” The exhibition at Hilton Bahrain will be open from December 12 to 16, inviting everyone to come and celebrate the creativity and hard work of these young artists.
