Something Spicy, Something Sweet: Lulu Celebrates India Utsav for Republic Day

Indian Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob inaugurated the vibrant "India Utsav" at LuLu Hypermarket in Dana Mall on January 23, 2025. The event, held in celebration of Indian Republic Day, also welcomed the presence of Mohammed Kooheji, Vice President of BCCI, and Abdul Rahman Juma, Chairman of the Bahrain India Society.
The occasion was marked with cultural performances, extensive promotions on Indian food items, and displays of ethnic wear, adding to the festive atmosphere. The India Utsav promotions will run until February 3, 2025.

Shoppers can look forward to exciting offers on Indian products, including popular brands such as 24 Mantra Organic, Natureland Organic, and Bikaji. As one of the region’s preferred suppliers of foodstuffs, India’s offerings include Basmati rice, grains, pickles, oils, teas, snacks, and an expanded range of ready-to-eat processed foods, all available at special prices.
Exotic Indian fruits like custard apples and sweet small bananas, as well as vegetables such as plantain, yam, and various Indian squashes, will also feature prominently. These items will be showcased in the "Little India @ LuLu" space within the hypermarket.

In addition to food items, discounts will be available on Indian-made kitchen appliances, with leading brands like "Butterfly" and "Meenumix" offering fantastic deals.
Interactive Contest
LuLu Hypermarket, in partnership with LIVE FM Radio, is also hosting a fun contest for the public. Participants are invited to share pictures of themselves at Indian monuments. The top 50 entries will be displayed at the hypermarket and on the social media channels of LuLu and the radio station.
