ICAI Bahrain Hosts ESG Event Featuring Mohamed Al Shehab

The Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hosted an insightful technical event on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) at the Wyndham Grand Bahrain. The event brought together industry professionals to discuss the evolving role of ESG in corporate decision-making and its impact on businesses.
Mohamed Al Shehab, Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, Investment, and Treasury at BAPCO, delivered the keynote address, offering deep insights into ESG strategies and their increasing significance in the corporate world. His presentation highlighted the growing emphasis on sustainable business practices and the need for organizations to align with global ESG standards.
The event also saw the participation of members from the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF), whose contributions towards supporting economically weaker sections in Bahrain underscored the "Social" pillar of ESG.
