Bahrain Sports Day Celebrated with Energy and Enthusiasm Across the Kingdom!

Bahrain Sports Day was marked with energy and excitement as organisations across the kingdom hosted a variety of activities to promote health, fitness, and teamwork.

From walkathons and friendly competitions to sports tournaments and wellness sessions, companies and institutions actively participated, reinforcing the importance of an active lifestyle and community engagement.

The Ministry of Labour organised a Bahrain Sports Day event for its employees featuring various sports activities held both inside and outside the ministry's premises.

The ministry’s participation aligns with the Cabinet's decision designating Thursday, 20 February 2025, as a half-working day for all ministries and government entities, allowing employees to take part in the celebrations.

In line with the Bahrain Sports Day, Aluminium Bahrain marked Bahrain Sports Day with a company-wide walkathon held yesterday, at the scenic HRH Princess Sabeeka Oasis.

The event saw strong participation from across Alba including Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali, members of the executive team, management, and employees representing various departments and sections.

Alba CEO hailed the decision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to allocate a sports day, and the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

Alba also held the 3rd edition of its ‘Sports Festival’ from 14 to 15 February 2025 at the Alba Club. It featured 18 different games and attracted more than 1,500 athletes from different age groups.

In celebration of Bahrain Sports Day 2025, Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of innovative Islamic financial solutions for simplifying money matters in the Kingdom of Bahrain, organized a variety of sports activities for its employees at Manama Souq on Thursday, February 20.

For the first time, the activities included a “Treasure Hunt” competition, featuring interactive challenges where participants solved a series of riddles and explored key landmarks within Manama Souq.

BisB employees formed multiple teams, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork, camaraderie, and enjoyment while engaging in various individual and team sports.
