Emirates Expands A350 Destinations with Seven New Routes

Emirates has unveiled the next seven cities set to receive service from its A350 aircraft, as newly delivered planes featuring the airline’s latest cabin innovations enter scheduled operations. The expansion will see Emirates enhancing its network across the Middle East, GCC, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, marking the A350’s debut in Africa and Southeast Asia.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, highlighted the strategic importance of the airline’s A350 expansion. “Our strategic A350 expansion across diverse geographies in the Middle East/GCC, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia leverages the aircraft’s operational flexibility and efficiency, while offering more customers expanded premium travel options and the opportunity to experience our latest generation interiors like Business Class and Premium Economy along with plenty of thoughtful touches throughout every cabin, now available in more cities than ever before.”
He further emphasized, “The introduction of this aircraft and layering it on existing route schedules also enables Emirates to maintain a compelling competitive position as the airline of choice for discerning travellers looking for a unique slate of connectivity options and elevated onboard experiences they can't have with any other carrier.”
Newly Added A350 Destinations
The latest A350 fleet additions will commence operations to the following destinations:
Tunis: The A350 will operate six times weekly (excluding Tuesdays) on EK 747/748 from June 1.
Amman: Emirates A350 will serve EK 905/906 daily starting June 1.
Istanbul: Daily operations begin on EK 117/118 from July 1.
Dammam: The A350 will debut in Saudi Arabia on flights EK 827/828 from July 1.
Ho Chi Minh City: Emirates A350 will enter Southeast Asia with daily EK 364/365 services from August 1.
Baghdad: Three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday) on EK 941/943 will start from August 3.
Oslo: Daily operations on EK 159/160 will commence from September 1.
Emirates plans to announce additional A350 destinations, including long-haul routes, in the coming months as new aircraft join its fleet.
Enhanced Services in Bahrain and Kuwait
In addition to these newly announced routes, Emirates is increasing A350 services to Bahrain and Kuwait. From June 1, Bahrain will see a nearly all-A350 operation with the addition of a third daily EK 835/836 flight. Kuwait will be served by a second A350 flight on EK 857/858 from October 1. Furthermore, Bologna will receive its first A350 on June 1, a month ahead of its initially scheduled deployment.

The Emirates A350 is designed with three spacious cabin classes, accommodating a total of 312 passengers: 32 next-generation Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with a mini-bar, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 generously pitched Economy Class seats. The aircraft showcases Emirates’ commitment to enhancing passenger experience with cutting-edge technology and elevated comfort.

Electric window blinds featuring the Emirates Ghaf tree motif in premium cabins
Touchscreen call bell buttons on inflight entertainment screens
Digital inflight menus displayed on ice screens
60-watt USB-C charging in every seat
Bluetooth connectivity for two personal headphones
Next-generation ice inflight entertainment system with ultra-responsive 4K and 4K HDR touchscreens
Emirates flights to the seven new A350 destinations are now available for booking via emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates Retail Stores, and travel agents. The airline continues to push the boundaries of inflight luxury and connectivity, solidifying its position as a leader in global aviation.
