Esterad Bank Appoints Fajer Al Pachachi As Chief Operating Officer

Esterad Bank B.S.C (c), a Bahrain-based wholesale Islamic bank regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, has announced the appointment of Fajer Al Pachachi as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). The appointment marks a strategic move as the Bank continues its transformation and growth trajectory.
With over 16 years of experience in investment management, strategic planning, operations, and business development, Ms. Al Pachachi brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. As COO, she will be responsible for leading several key departments, including strategy, legal, operations, administration, IT, fund administration, corporate communications, and investor relations.
Her leadership is expected to strengthen Esterad Bank’s operational infrastructure, improve internal controls, and drive growth across its investment platforms and client services.

Ms. Al Pachachi joins the Bank following her tenure as General Manager at Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, where she led corporate and investment strategy across multiple departments. Her previous roles also include serving as Senior Manager of Investment Development (Technology & Innovation) at the Bahrain Economic Development Board, where she played a pivotal role in attracting foreign investment into Bahrain’s tech ecosystem.
Her diverse experience spans across leading financial institutions including Instrata Capital, Maalem Holding, and Addax Bank, covering areas such as marketing, strategic business development, and investment management.

Ms. Al Pachachi holds a Bachelor of Business Commerce from Concordia University in Canada. She currently serves on several boards, including as Chair of the Technology & Digital Economy Committee at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
