Tamkeen launches Advisory Services to boost pvt sector

Tamkeen yesterday announced the launch of its Advisory Services,  a new platform which provides advisory and consultancy services to businesses, job seekers and employees working in the private sector. This comes as part of Tamkeen’s continuous efforts to support businesses and individuals across all stages of development.

Through this platform, Tamkeen will provide eligible business owners and individuals with relevant guidance and advisory services in collaboration with experts at no cost. For businesses, Tamkeen’s Advisory Services will include business mentoring. Additionally, businesses requiring more focused and on spotadvice will be able to avail business coaching services through the platform.

For individuals, Tamkeen’s Advisory Services platform will provide the opportunity to receive long-term career mentoring from industry veterans and professionals. Individuals who wish to receive general direction and guidance will be able to use the platform’s career coaching service. In addition, the platform will provide job seekers with internship and volunteering opportunities across various sectors in Bahrain. 

The pilot phase of the platform’s services will be implemented in partnership with specialist and experienced partners such as Global Shapers Manama Hub, Mowgli Foundation, a UK-headquartered mentoring organisation, the Entrepreneurs Organisation, a global peer to peer network of more than 11,000 influential business owners and the Bahrain Business Women Society, the largest network of business women in the Kingdom.

Aside for business mentorship services, Tamkeen’s Advisory Services will be gradually made available to the public, as more details about the eligibility criteria and application processes will be announced in the near
future.  

Commenting on the announcement, Tamkeen’s Chairman and Acting Chief Executive, Shaikh Mohammad bin Essa Al Khalifa, said: “Through Tamkeen’s Advisory Services, individuals and businesses will be able to tap into a wealth of information and expertise from industry veterans and experts, which will guide them towards the optimal path for growth and development.”

Rawwaf Alhasan, President of Entrepreneurs’ Organisation, Bahrain Business Women Society President, Ahlam Janahi  and Dr. Ali Adnan Ibrahim, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and Founding Curator of the Global Shapers - Manama Hub praised the new
platform.
