Huawei Unveils Upgraded AI Data Lake Solution at GITEX 2025
Huawei hosted the Innovative Data Storage Summit during GITEX 2025 in Dubai, uniting customers and partners from across the Middle East and Central Asia to discuss emerging trends and best practices in data infrastructure for the AI era.
During the event, Fu Xiao, President of Huawei Enterprise Data Storage Marketing and Solution Sales Department, unveiled Huawei’s upgraded AI Data Lake Solution for the region, designed to accelerate intelligent transformation across industries.
Huawei also introduced a range of new innovations, including:

OceanStor A600 – a dedicated storage system for AI inference with advanced “long-memory inference” capabilities, enabling efficient large-scale model training and multi-round inference for applications such as medical imaging, industrial quality inspection, and smart education.

OceanStor Pacific 9926 – an all-flash distributed storage system offering a 1:1 HDD replacement, delivering enhanced performance and energy efficiency for massive data workloads.

Huawei OceanCyber Data Security Solution – a comprehensive data protection platform built on unified detection, collaborative defense, and recovery drills.

DME (Omni-Dataverse) Unified Data Space – a next-generation system that uses intelligent tiering, data cataloging, and lineage tracking to visualize and manage data dynamically at exabyte scale.
With these advancements, Huawei aims to strengthen the foundation of intelligent data infrastructure—enhancing speed, resilience, and smart management—to empower digital transformation across all industries in the AI-driven future.
