Bahrain, Jordan for greater cooperation

Bahrain could benefit greatly from the successful experiences of Jordan in the field of medicine and medical supply industry, said Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani yesterday. 

Highlighting the directives issued by Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in this regard, the minister said  such measure would result in benefiting the citizens of both the countries

“There is a clear directives of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on the importance to benefit from the Jordanian experiences in the field of medicine and medical supplies industry, which requires cooperation with the stakeholder in both countries,” said Alzayani. 

The minister was holding a discussion with the President of Jordanian House of Representatives Abdulla Obeidat and delegation accompanying him as part of their official visit to the Kingdom. 

Elaborating the minister said, “We have many things in common for example the human element, enhancing cultural aspects, as well as giving priority to education as a foundation to build and develop the country.”

The minister also touched other issues of common interest such as the free trade agreement with the United States and declaration of Manama as the capital of Gulf Tourism 2016.  The delegation expressed their admiration of urban renaissance witnessed by Bahrain, confirming the importance of cooperation in the field of aluminum which is considered one of the most important industries in Bahrain.
