Lumee kicks off delivery service from Lumee

The face of modern Middle Eastern flavours in Bahrain, Lumee Street Café, is celebrating its first-year anniversary by unveiling a number of delightful surprises for its customers. This includes a wide-ranging menu extension with new breakfast, lunch and dinner choices and a much-anticipated delivery service set to launch this month.

The local café-cum-deli will start the day with new savoury breakfast selections including tasty egg dishes and Lumee’s signature homemade baked beans. During lunch, customers can choose from any of the all-day menu selections or fresh daily specials. Lumee will then serve dinner featuring duck shawarma, black lime baby chicken and juicy beef short ribs alongside other Lumee favourites.

The restaurant also offers a new selection of desserts that stand out for their high-end appearance but rich homemade taste. For healthier choices, Lumee has prepared a new line of fresh cold-pressed juices carefully blended to preserve nutrients. Moreover, customers can opt for whole-grain bread and side brown rice for sides to help them keep an eye on their waistlines.

The new menu has been carefully crafted with the help of the restaurant’s experienced head chef, Simon Fernandez. Commenting on the celebrations he said, “It’s an exceptional experience to be part of Lumee Street Café and watch it grow into one of Bahrain’s favourite restaurants, and to have the privilege of celebrating this success with Lumee’s customers by adding even more healthier options and crafting delicious Middle Eastern food with a unique slant.”

Underpinning its offerings, Lumee is launching a new delivery service for customers to enjoy its unique flavours from the comfort of their home or office. The new delivery service caters to customers across Seef District reaching out to Bahrain’s most populated area of hotels, resorts, apartments, local businesses and multinational companies.

Hamad Rashed, Director, Al Abraaj Restaurants Group – the company behind Lumee Street Café and some of Bahrain’s most popular restaurants such as Al Bindaira Cafe and NuAsia – emphasised the importance of the newly launched delivery service. He said, “We wanted to start Lumee’s second year by thanking our customers and making sure they can enjoy Lumee’s flavourful food even when they can’t make it to the restaurant itself, and we’re really excited to start taking orders in mid-January.”

Starting mid-January, delivery orders can be made by calling 17434300.  Lumee Street Café opens daily from 8.30 am to 11pm, serving the following: breakfast from 8.30 am to 12 noon, lunch from 12.30pm to 3.30pm and dinner from 6:30pm to 11pm.
