Bahrain to get new aircraft hangar
A deal was announced with French company Setec to design and supervise the maintenance, repair and overhaul of a new hangar for aircrafts. This is the third work the French company will be executing in Bahrain.
Deal was announced by Minister of Transportation in the presence of Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, Bahrain Airport Company CEO.
The contract for the work of the Hangar construction will be given in 6 months.
The minister said that the airport modernisation will create good job prospects for the local engineering talent and is given great thrust during the airshow. Talks will be made with all stake holders like Gulf air to create further job.
The Minister will also announce a deal for constructing a new terminal building today.
In another deal, Almoayed contracting group and Bahrain airport company signed a deal for the refurbishment of arrival lounge, which will be executed without causing much inconvenience to the public, according to the Almoayed representative.
