Helicopter delivery surprises Dubai beachgoers
Thousands of beachgoers at Dubai’s Kite Beach got a little more than they (bucket) bargained for on Friday as when a fast food chain surprised them with an unexpected afternoon treat.
As part of its ‘The Taste that comes to you anywhere’ initiative, the food chain astonished members of the public by delivering its unique recipe using a helicopter that swooped out of the skies to hand out free sandwiches.
The stunt saw a giant bucket full of sandwiches suspended from a helicopter flying over Kite Beach and landing at the location.
A team of do-gooders from the company then distributed the bucket’s 3,000 chicken sandwiches free to people enjoying their afternoon at the popular spot.
The stunning helicopter initiative formed part of its drive to show customers that it can deliver its ‘so good’ taste anytime, anywhere.
