BCCI to hold open meeting in March
Manama : The Transport and Logistics sector committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold an open meeting on March 8, 2016 in the Chamber’s premises, announced board member and committee head Abdulhakeem Al Shemeri, yesterday.
“The open meeting will deliberate about the E-Customs Services, identify and crystalize the hurdles curbing the progress of this important sector, and propose recommendations prior to raising them to the relevant bodies to take actions,” said Al Shemeri.
He also said that the meeting will host representatives from the Customs Affairs of the Ministry of Interior, custom brokers and clearing agents, as well as transport and logistics companies, and will serve as a platform for communication between all parties.
