ASIC, EMM sign auto refinish JV

Manama : Almoayyed Safety Industrial Centre (ASIC), a division of the Almoayyed International Group (AIG), and the leading auto refinish solutions provider in the Kingdom has signed a joint venture agreement with EMM International B.V., Netherlands to promote auto refinish non-paints and associated products in Bahrain. 

Mohammed Almoayyed, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Almoayyed International Group (AIG) and Jeroen van den Berg, General Manager Export & Benelux, EMM International B.V., Netherlands, signed the agreement during a technical seminar event organised at the Gulf Hotel, Gulf Convention Centre yesterday.

Commenting on the deal, Mohammed Almoayyed said, “We at Almoayyed International Group are extremely pleased that we have partnered with EMM International. They have built a strong reputation world over as a leading company for auto refinish non-paints and associated products and we will ensure that this reputation is further strengthened within the Kingdom.”

Jeroen van den Berg added, “After a delegation from AIG visited our International Knowledge & Experience Centre in Zwolle, The Netherlands, it all came together and we concluded both parties have one clear-cut goal, amongst others, that we both strive for, innovation. Now that will bear fruit, with this signing – a three year exclusive contract between Almoayyed and EMM International.” 

More than 75 key decision makers and body shop managers in Bahrain who were also provided with insights on the technology, the technical solutions and the competitive advantages of EMM International attended the seminar. The seminar also  provided an opportunity to exchange opinions and expertise regarding auto refinished paints & associated products.
