Gulf Air’s Dubai operations from Concourse D
Manama : Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier yesterday officially moved its Dubai operations to Dubai International Airport’s new terminal – Concourse D, which is also the location of the airline’s newly refurbished Gulf Air Falcon Gold Lounge. Concourse D is linked to the newly-renovated Terminal 1 via an airport train which can transport 300 passengers and will run every two and half minutes between the Concourse and Terminal.
Speaking about this latest development, Gulf Air A/Chief Executive Officer Maher Salman Al Musallam said, “We are delighted to commence operations to and from Dubai International Airport’s recently-opened Concourse D – further facilitating and enhancing passenger movement and comforts on the ground. With the broad scope of facilities on offer we anticipate our passengers will be delighted with all that the new terminal has to offer.”
Operating to the United Arab Emirates since 1960, Gulf Air’s multiple daily flights allow for seamless same-day movement between Bahrain, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while offering passengers excellent onward connectivity, via Bahrain International Airport, to key destinations in Indian Subcontinent and Europe.
