Adopt the principle of change: Minister

Dubai : Bahrain’s oil minister yesterday urged companies to adopt “the principle of change” to remain relevant in the turbulent market condition. “But with change comes transformation, and it is this transformation that will determine a company’s success for many years to come,” said Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa while viewing the world as an ever-changing one fraught with uncertainty and turbulence. 

This came during his comments on the 13th Annual GPCA Forum of the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association, which will be inaugurated by the minister at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. The forum from 26–28 November 2018 will put the spotlight on the theme “Executing transformation and investing in growth”. 

 “I am extremely pleased to see GPCA building on last year’s theme and focusing on “Executing transformation and investing in growth,” said the minister adding that this year’s forum provides the perfect opportunity to accelerate collaboration with industry leaders and seek out investment opportunities across the entire value chain. The forum, the minister said, brings to the forefront practical means to this transformation, and an opportunity to share knowledge in an effective way forward.”
