Nass Contracting achieves 10 million man-hours sans LTI
Manama : Nass Contracting has successfully completed ten million man-mours on the Alba Line 6 expansion project without a Lost Time Incident (LTI). Acknowledging the significance of this occasion, Nass Contracting General Manager, Nigel Hector, said:
“In January 2017, Nass Contracting commenced work on the Alba Line 6 expansion project. The initial site preparation project grew into five projects with a peak of 3,754 personnel on site. On July 31, 2018, Nass Contracting completed 10,000,000 man-hours without a LTI. This is a tremendous achievement for all of the project teams”.
“Occupational health and safety is a core value in Nass Contracting that we have embedded and continue to promote throughout our business. Over the past few years, we have continuously improved our Occupational Health and Safety performance and introduced several initiatives aimed at ensuring the safety of our people and assets,” Nigel said
“This milestone was achieved by the dedication and commitment of our teams and through the support and encouragement of our clients including: Alba, Bechtel, Gama, General Electric and Siemens,” Nigel said during a celebration held to mark the occasion. The celebration was held to recognise the workers.
