Admission begins for aircraft maintenance engineering course
Manama : BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC) has started accepting applications for 2018-2019 entry, a press release said. The Center, part of Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), provides a four-year highly specialized programme in aircraft maintenance engineering, in which students acquire both theoretical and practical experience.
The Center is open daily for those who want to register, with easy access to study theoretical and practical training methods in BAETC, and to acquire the EASA Part 66 license, which is the most recognized license in aviation maintenance in the world.The students wishing to study must be older than 18 and have to pass the entrance exams and interviews. He stressed that a high school certificate is not a prerequisite, as only applied science is required to learn how to maintain aircrafts.
In order to make it easier for students and parents, BAS company has announced the possibility of paying the related fees on a monthly basis over four years. BAS strategy is belief in the importance of supporting education and training in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and it is eager to help and encourage Bahrainis’ to be competitive in the labour market.
