‘BIAS 2018’ flying high

The 5th Edition of the Bahrain International Air Show 2018 (BIAS 2018) continues to gain momentum quickly with some of the major players in the region including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates confirming their interest in the show. The show will take off on 14 November 2018 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and under the supervision of Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative, and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of BIAS.

The show which concludes on 16 November 2018 will provide aviation companies from the region the opportunity to meet potential clients and suppliers from the global aviation industry. “I am very proud that we have seen such a strong response from our neighbouring countries for the Airshow, reflecting the efforts of the Gulf leaders to support investment attraction to the region,” said the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of BIAS, Kamal Ahmed.

BIAS, the minister said, aims to attract international companies to Bahrain and to the region, providing a custom platform for high-level B2B exchange. “The show provides top executives from the public and private sectors in the region a platform to meet global aviation industry leaders,” the minister said.
