StanChart partners with Zurich International Life

Standard Chartered has announced its strategic partnership with the global insurer, Zurich International Life (Zurich), as its preferred partner in offering comprehensive life insurance solutions to its clients in Bahrain. The announcement took place during a ceremony that was held at the Royal Riffa Golf Club and attended by senior executives from Standard Chartered Bank in Bahrain and Zurich International Life.

Zurich’s tailor-made insurance products will be available through Standard Chartered’s distribution channels. Kunal Varma, Head of Retail Banking, Bahrain & GCC, said, “By partnering with Zurich International Life, we will be connecting our clients with one of the leading global insurance companies, allowing them to combine tailor-made financial solutions with insurance requirements.”

Swarnaleka Shetty, Director - Bank Distribution, Zurich Middle East, said the partnership will focus on creating customized insurance solutions that are truly customer-centric and fulfil customers’ financial needs.’ Standard Chartered will be offering Zurich International Life products immediately through its Priority Banking division.
