TRA awarded ISO 27001 Certificate
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has been awarded ISO 27001 Certificate for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). The award by the Quality Certification Bureau Italia, the authorised body to grant the ISO 27001 certificate, according to TRA, reflects TRA’s commitment to implementing the highest standards of information security and risk management.
TRA conforms to the ISO / IEC 27001:2013 standard by adopting an ISMS with the aim of maintaining high information security, confidentiality and integrity and controlling information management risks. TRA said it exerts all its endeavours to preserve data security by keeping up with the latest technology advancements.
ISO 27001 is an international standard that defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System.
