Takaful International unveils new brand identity, revamped logo

Takaful International Company (Takaful), one of the region’s pioneering Islamic insurance companies, announced the launch of its new brand identity incorporating a revamped logo. The move follows the Company’s progress towards integration into the Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) in 2015 and GIG’s completion of the process of acquiring a majority stake in Takaful, which has seen it emerge as the takaful arm of GIG.

The launch took place on Tuesday at The Ritz Carlton Bahrain in the presence of Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Baker, Executive Director - Financial Institutions Supervision, Central Bank of Bahrain; Jamal Al Hazeem, Chairman, Takaful International; Essam M. Al Ansari, Acting Chief Executive, Takaful International, member of the Board of Directors and senior members of Takaful and the GIG Group as well as other invited guests.

Commenting on the new brand identity, Takaful’s Chairman, Jamal Al Hazeem said: “Becoming a member of GIG Group has proved beneficial for us here at Takaful and for our clients and industry, providing us with the additional financial and technical support required to continue to build on our leadership in the takaful market. It has also marked the coming together of two respected names who have a common goal towards achieving excellence at all operational levels.”
