Kanoo IT wins Digital Innovations award

Kanoo IT, a leading information technology services company and a subsidiary of Ebrahim K. Kanoo won the Digital Innovations in Client Services at the inaugural Bahrain edition of the Smart SMB Summit & Awards. Kanoo IT was recognised for developing and rolling out an Electronic Initial Public Offering (eIPO) software for Bahrain Clear; a wholly owned subsidiary of Bahrain Bourse.

The theme of the event was ‘Digital Transformation’, attracting C-level executives who play key roles in leading and facilitating digital transformation initiatives in their various organizations. Offering a range of services including transactions depository, clearing, settlement, central registry and registration, the eIPO platform was launched by Bahrain Clear in conjunction with the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of APM Terminals Bahrain.

It allowed investors to complete their subscription in APM Terminal Bahrain’s IPO through the online platform to provide a seamless and convenient mechanism for IPO subscription applications. Highlighting the importance of the award Director at Ebrahim K.
