LuLu to celebrate Egyptian week
LuLu Hypermarket announced yesterday that it is all set to celebrate the popularity of Egyptian produce in all its branches with a dedicated Egyptian Festival. The three-day event from Feb 28 to March 2 will be inaugurated at LuLu Hypermarket, Hidd by Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Soha Ebrahim Elfar. To the fragrant of fine Egyptian cuisine like Kushari, Chicken Molokhia and Laham Bamia as well as some of the freshest Egyptian vegetables, fruits, seafood, meat, pickles and cheese, customers will be treated to excellent choices of fresh, frozen and prepared Egyptian food.
Over 150 products from Egypt shall be on display during the festival. “The efforts of LuLu Hypermarket are appreciated to present the Egyptian products in the Bahraini market. We hope that the products will meet the expectations of costumers. We believe that LuLu Hypermarket is a tool for enhancing the relations between the two countries. We encourage LuLu’s customers to purchase the egyptian products and benefit from the 30 per cent discount,” said Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Soha Ebrahim Elfar There will be a special fruits promotion featuring Egyptian Navel and Mandarin oranges, guava and avocado as well as a wide range of frozen vegetables.
There will be a 30 per cent flat discount on all Egyptian products during these three days. “LuLu Hypermarket is proud of its growing association with Egypt and we have plans to expand our presence there,” said LuLu Group Director Juzer Rupawala, “We have a long and fruitful relationship which is evident in the variety and range of products from Egypt in our aisles. This Festival is also a celebration of the growing importance of Egypt to the economic scenario of the MENA region and the closeness of Bahrain and Egypt.”
