Batelco first to launch 5G
Batelco has announced the commercial launch of its 5G services to become the first in Bahrain and among the first in the region to deliver commercial 5G network services.
The service, Batelco said, will be available in key locations and gradually rolled out in more areas throughout the Kingdom depending on demand.
Commenting on the launch, Batelco CEO Mikkel Vinter said: “Batelco is committed to supporting the telecom sector in line with the Kingdom’s vision for the digital economy as well as working on unleashing the great potential of 5G technology.”
