BCCI holds seminar on Personal Data Protection Law
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), represented by its Technology Committee, is holding a seminar on the new Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), which will come into effect on 1st August 2019. The seminar will be held today from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Al Majlis Hall of Bait Al Tijjar.
Discussions will focus on the new provisions for data processing; civil and criminal liability and penalties for violation; in addition to legal and technical implications of the law. The seminar will be held in cooperation with Keypoint, a professional advisory service provider.
