NBB opens Seef Mall branch

National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) yesterday celebrated the official inauguration of its flagship branch at the Seef Mall under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). The ceremony was attended by the Bank’s Board, management and staff, led by NBB Chairman, Farouk Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed.

The event saw guests receive an exclusive tour of the new premises where key features of the bank’s new digital flagship model were unveiled and demonstrated. This includes an on-site “Meet & Greet Service” to help guide and train customers on how to leverage the bank’s new automated transaction machines as well other digital platforms and services, new dedicated counters and meeting rooms for business customers (corporates and small & medium enterprises – SMEs).

Khalid Saad, CEO of Bahrain Fintech Bay of which NBB is a Founding Partner, delivered a presentation on the collective efforts underway to meet evolving customer demands. Commenting on the occasion, Farouk Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed, said, “We are very proud to launch this new flagship branch of the future and of the many other innovations underway to make banking more efficient and seamless for all of those we serve.”

Jean-Christophe Durand, added, “In branches like Seef, customers can now take advantage of in-branch services as well as learn and be familiarised with other new and exciting innovations that can automate the way they bank or fully digitalise the banking journey for even greater convenience. We look forward to building on the enhancements of the Seef Branch and to rolling out these innovations, products and services to the rest of our network.”
