Batelco’s graduate programme creating future leaders
Batelco has announced the commencement of its Graduate Trainee programme for 2019 in collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) to introduce graduates to the telecommunications sector. Of all the graduates who have taken part, Batelco has employed 48 of the 72 who received training, with the others receiving employment with other telecommunications providers.
Batelco Chief Human Resources Officer Faisal Al Jalahma said: “We take it as our role to invest in the youth of Bahrain to prepare talented future leaders to serve the nation in various domains and specifically in the telecom sector.”
Batelco’s Head of Learning & Development, Sumaya Adel, stressed on the importance of empowering young people and investing in their development through comprehensive programmes.
