Expert Minimal Access Gynaecologist and Urogynecologist joins RBH

Royal Bahrain Hospital yesterday announced the joining of Dr Harnek Rai, Consultant - Minimal Access Gynecology and Urogynecology to its Obstetrics & Gynecology Team. Dr Harnek has been practising as a Consultant - Gynecologist and Urogynecologist in the United Kingdom for the past 16 years before joining Royal Bahrain Hospital with over 25 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics & gynaecology. He has qualified from Ninewells Hospital and Medical School in Dundee, UK.

He obtained his minimal access experience and undertook a Fellowship in Sydney, Australia. Dr Harnek was also awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology, London in 2009.

Dr Harnek specialized in managing and treating various Gynecology and Urogynecology conditions which include all-female urinary incontinence (Bladder Neck Injections, Intravesical Botox, Colposuspension, Cystoscopy with Urethral dilation), Female Vaginal Prolapse (Vaginal Wall Repairs, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Sacrospinous Fixation and Sacrocolpopexy) and Minimal Access Surgery of various gynecology symptoms such as Endometriosis, Hysterectomy, Prolapse Surgery, Ovarian Cysts and Ectopic Pregnancy.
