BCCI joins hands with WBAF
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF) on 12th November 2019. BCCI Chairman Sameer Nass and WBAF chairman Baybars Altuntas signed the deal on the sidelines BCCI’s 80th-anniversary celebrations.
The deal outlines the mechanism of cooperation between BCCI and World Business Angel Investment Forum for consolidating efforts to support and encourage entrepreneurs, stimulate the development and expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises, and streamline access to funding.
The memorandum also calls for holding joint events and encouraging the youth to take part in contests that connect entrepreneurs with angel investors.
It is worth mentioning that World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF) is an international organisation that aims to ease access to finance for businesses from start-up to scale-up, with the ultimate goal of generating more jobs and more social justice worldwide.
