EDB, China to further enhance business cooperation

Representatives from the Economic Development Board of Bahrain (EDB) yesterday held discussions with a visiting Chinese business delegation from Guangdong to enhance trade cooperation between both the countries. EDB showcased various business opportunities available in Bahrain to the Chinese investors by highlighting Kingdom’s competitive advantages and its open economic environment.
The delegates also held discussions with representatives of Bahrain Technology Companies (BTECH)
society. They will now hold talks with Bahrain’s business community members at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and visit the site of the upcoming Dragon City Project. The China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Guangdong province was established in 1957, and includes representatives from a range of sectors and businesses in the province. Since its establishment, the CCPIT has worked to promote international trade and benefit from foreign direct investment and promoting economic cooperation.
