Amwaj Islands holds Central Owners’ Association General Assembly meeting

Amwaj Islands, one of the largest real estate projects in the Kingdom, held the first General Assembly of the Amwaj Central Owners Association on Saturday at the Art Rotana Hotel, Amwaj.

Amwaj Islands consist of four main islands with approximately 1,200 properties, with some 7,000 housing units and 13,000 people living there.

Approximately 50 per cent of the island has been developed, with a mix of residential, commercial, hotel and leisure facilities in the lagoon area of the island.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, stated that the formation of Amwaj Central Owners Association is a milestone for Owners’ Associations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.’
