Gulf Air suspends flights to and from the State of Kuwait

Gulf Air - the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain confirms its commitment to the decision of the General Administration of Civil Aviation in Kuwait regarding the suspension of flights temporarily to and from Kuwait International Airport, starting from midnight on Friday, March 13th until further notice.

The national carrier indicated that the remaining flights will be restricted to Kuwaiti citizens and their first degree relatives, in addition to the accompanying domestic workers. Non-Kuwaitis are prohibited from entering the State of Kuwait through Kuwait International Airport on flights 12 and 13 March. Non-Kuwaiti travelers who wish to come to the Kingdom of Bahrain will be allowed to travel on return flights from Kuwait International Airport.

The national carrier also indicated that passengers should check the gulfair.com website before traveling, or call the Gulf Air International Call Center for more information at 0097317373737. Calls to the Gulf Air Call Center exceeded the usual number of calls for inquiries about changes that occurred due to Coronavirus, so response to clients may take longer.

Gulf Air will try to make sure that its passengers don’t have any inconvenience as this matter may get out of their control, as it works closely with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain to take all precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the safety and security of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the security and safety of its passengers and crew.
