Virtual conference on way on Innovative Energy Solutions

The Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organisation announced launching a virtual conference on innovative energy solutions this Wednesday.

Held under the patronage of Dr Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, the President of the Sustainable Energy Authority, the conference offers an opportunity to address international experts in sustainable energy and participate in discussions.

The conference focuses on a set of themes including the global trends in the sustainable energy sector, the innovations in green energy and their impact on entrepreneurship, and the initiatives to develop the clean energy sector.

Dr Mirza will deliver a keynote speech on the experience of Bahrain in sustainable energy and energy efficiency.

The ceremony includes an address from officials from the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”. The University of Bahrain, the Embassy of Egypt, the Bahrain Banks Association, the United Nations Industrial Development Office “UNIDO”, and the Entrepreneur Organisation are the other participants.

The videoconference panel discussions begin at 3:00 pm with the first panel titled “Global Trends in the Sustainable Energy Sector” and led by Rami Othman, Energy Efficiency Specialist at the Sustainable Energy Authority.

Businesswoman Feryal Nass, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organisation, thanked Dr Mirza for his sponsorship and support.

She also stressed the importance of raising awareness among entrepreneurs on sustainable energy and usage of alternative clean energy like Solar energy systems, as well as energy conservation in buildings.
