BCICAI named best 2020 overseas Chapter of ICAI

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) awarded the best overseas Chapter for the year 2020 to The Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI).
While Bahrain Chapter bagged the first prize, the second prize and third prize in Category II (100-500 members) went to the Singapore and Muscat Chapters, respectively.
Bahrain Chapter has been consistently getting the top position in the Overseas Chapter awards having won the top position in 2016 and the second prize for the years 2017,2018 and 2019.
BCICAI chairman Ajay Kumar Chettuvetty collected the prize on behalf of the BCICAI at the 71st Annual Function of ICAI held in Delhi from Indian MP Arun Singh and ICAI president Atul Gupta.
Ajay Kumar said the award was recognition for the good work that has been done over many years and dedicated it to all the members of the Bahrain Chapter.
He expressed his gratitude to the leadership and people of Bahrain for providing the opportunities for development for its members as well as the Indian Embassy, Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance and the Bahrain Accountants Association for their continued guidance.
BCICAI is an aggregation of qualified Indian Chartered Accountants residing in Bahrain with a membership of over 400 active members and is affiliated to the Bahrain Accountants Association.
