Sterilisers and disinfectants manufacturing factory inaugurated in Bahrain

The Industrial Care World Factory, which will manufacture health care products, sterilisers and disinfectants, was inaugurated.

Present in the ceremony were Assistant Undersecretary for Industry Development Khaled Fahd Al Alawi, on behalf of Industry, Trade and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Industrial Care World Factory Chief Executive Jamil Omar Abu Khalil and a number of senior ministry officials.

During the opening ceremony, Al Alawi said that Bahrain is proud of the growth of investment projects and international factories that are based in the Kingdom as the main base for their business.

He pointed out that environment-friendly industrial facilities will strengthen Bahrain’s investment position as a gateway to business in the region.

The attendees toured the factory, which is one of the most modern in this field.

They were briefed on the dynamics of work in the factory and the most important products that produce, which include chemical cleaning materials, cosmetics, perfumes, hand sanitisers, multi-purpose cleaners, surface scrubs, and others that meet the local market.

The factory is also planning to increase production capacity and prepare for export to GCC countries, Jordan, Lebanon, Europe and the US.

It has imported devices and machines from China, Jordan, Italy and Germany.

Currently, 15 employees work in the company, and will add 10 more this year, while working on increasing the percentage of Bahrainisation to 60%.
